It offers the latest in vehicle and race customization, great graphics, outstanding multiplayer and the height of racing realism. Either way i don't think any model is a good one. rFactor 2 is a realistic, easily extendable racing simulation from Studio 397. Buy all the content for an extra 11 quid or buy the remaining tracks and 10 cars. IRacing is a complete rip off, I will agree with you on that m8 :) You mention raceroom but at least they credit you for any part of a pack you already own, meaning you can buy any pack on discount and you won't get stung twice for the same content. My opinion is that it's been poorly thought out. I don't regret buying the stuff m8, but this sale is no good to most hardcore simmers here as they will already have a portion of the packs.

There is Portland free and improvements to Silverstone and numerous other things. I dunno if there's any chance of Valve ever implementing wishlist/notifications & indication of ownership for "Item Store" stuff? Or if rF2 might ever consider a switch to a more traditional DLC model? There's no way to push notifications to people who might be interested in actually buying this stuff. Item Store stuff doesn't feature anywhere on the Steam store itself outside of the rF2 page, so can't appear in search results, promo pages, related game pages, etc. seemingly the only way to present any sort of discount is by editing the image for each pack & hoping customers spot it. It's hardly ideal for the devs/pub either. 2 r1adzz 21 days ago I’m new to rf2 too, I bought the game some months ago when it was 3 and got the endurance dlc during Halloween, so I’ve yet to see if they have a sale during Christmas but I hope they do because I want the GT3 pack along with Q4 dlc. And it's impossible to tell which items we already own amongst the ever-growing selection, especially within "packs", even more so if their contents change over time. This "Item Store" approach seems more suited to games with consumable, unlockable and/or tradeable items.?Ĭustomers can't "wishlist" things, nor be notified of discounts. but it's too hard to tell what I own/want, especially with the packs changing. Some tracks/cars I picked up as they launched, and I kept a list of others I might buy in future sales. Everything can be customized by the community.
